How To Make Apple Cider Vinegar Body Wash To Treat Yeast Infections on the Skin

Another excellent way to treat yeast infections on the skin with apple cider vinegar is by applying it directly to the site of infection. Depending on the sensitivity of your skin, there are a few different methods you can employ. One of my favorites is below!

Recipe: Apple Cider Vinegar Body Wash

Ingredients

  • apple cider vinegar
  • Body wash (preferably all-natural)
  • Empty water bottle (8-16oz size)

Instructions

  • Make sure that your water bottle is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.
  • Pour in one part apple cider vinegar to three parts body wash: the exact amount of each liquid will depend on the size of your water bottle.
  • Seal the bottle and shake vigorously to combine.
  • During your normal shower or bathing routine, use the body wash to clean the affected areas. Remember to dry yourself thoroughly afterwards!

Precautions

While this pure use of apple cider vinegar may work well for the feet, other areas of the skin – such as the armpits or between skin folds – may be more sensitive and get irritated by the acidity of the vinegar. If desired, you can make a separate body wash for these areas, with less apple cider vinegar and more body wash in that mixture.
